Merdivenköy Apartment

This apartment project, where functionality is at the forefront, which will maximize the financial gain of the investor over the “architectural quantity” and where quality is out of the question, has been designed within the framework of the zoning rules determined by the authorities, ready to take its place in the forest of apartment blocks that we can see on the road without bothering to look up. This repetitive building, with little effort, ignores the sociological and psychological problems it will cause indirectly and does not say anything about belonging to its place. The gap in the road façade of the building was completed with wooden laths to complete the mass and create space for air-conditioning units and climbing ivy was considered on these laths. Materials with different colors and textures used on façade, enriching visual rhythm; suppressing insipidity.
